Fungal Tapestry
I noticed during my masters, I was holding on to many objects, perhaps because they were embedded with memories and insights. With this random assemblage of things I hope to share a glimpse into my tactile research process.
The making of this tapestry itself felt like an opportunity to explore how to create a mycelial research archive.
As part of the finals exhibition for the International Artist Educator Masters at ArtEZ, I created a fungal archiveβa physical manifestation of my research process. The artifacts were collected in Arnhem and Tangier throughout the artistic research process; a quest exploring wild intelligence.
